Labor Finders International Wins Two Top Awards From the American Staffing Association For Excellence In Communications

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL—Labor Finders International is pleased to announce that it’s received two American Staffing Association (ASA) VOICE Awards, which recognize outstanding communications strategies in the staffing industry.

Labor Finders won two Awards of Excellence – top prize – in the Media Relations and Public Service categories. Awards were handed out in 15 categories.

In the Media Relations category, Labor Finders International was recognized for its public relations campaign to bring increased awareness to the company and the staffing industry as a whole, particularly how the temporary staffing industry is a leading indicator of economic conditions. The effort resulted in two appearances by Jeffrey Burnett, Labor Finders International president and CEO, on the national cable outlet Fox Business Network and several other media placements.

Labor Finders International drew honors in the Public Service category for its joint effort with the Lake City, Fla., Labor Finders franchise office to coordinate the construction of a brand-new bedroom addition on the home of a 10-year-old Lake City boy undergoing treatment for leukemia. Experiencing financial hardship due to Andrew Holmes’ treatment costs, the Holmes family had been unable to provide a clean home environment in which Andrew, who was sharing a bedroom with his two brothers, could best recover. The Lake City office spearheaded the project, donated labor, and solicited service and material donations to complete the bedroom at no charge to the family.

The American Staffing Association promotes legal, ethical, and professional practices for the $91 billion U.S. staffing industry. ASA members account for 85 percent of U.S. staffing industry sales and operate more than 15,000 offices throughout the nation.
