The Compassionate Bowl Game: Labor Finders Feeds the Homeless in the Shadows of the Big Game
PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL— This year South Florida’s “Big Game” celebration will take on a new meaning: Feeding the hungry. One company is prepared to do something about this situation. Labor Finders International, (LFI) the country’s oldest and largest privately held industrial labor staffing company, cares about the on-going epidemic in this country…hunger.
In an effort to help feed the hungry, Labor Finders is kicking off their "Soup or Bowl." On behalf of every new customer that does business with any Labor Finders office the company will donate a bowl of soup to feed the hungry. In addition, one lucky customer will get a one-of-a-kind serving bowl. Labor Finders commissioned Joel Betancourt a well-known South Florida ceramic artist to design this unique statement piece, which bears a striking resemblance to the stadium hosting the “Big Game”!
Jeffrey Burnett, President & CEO of Labor Finders International stated, “Labor Finders is grateful for our customers’ on-going support and we are proud to declare that our success has been measured by getting people jobs during this struggling economy, we place on average just over 10,000 people to work every day. In addition, we realize that in difficult times like what we are going through, we need to do more. This is why we created Labor Finders Soup or Bowl, because we want all of our neighbors to have food on their tables.
“We begin 2010 with high hopes for a rebounding economy; in addition we are aware of the numerous and difficult issues our federal, local government and citizens will need to tackle. Providing soup to those in need is just the beginning. The support of our customers and employees will enable Labor Finders to continue to help people... because that is what Labor Finders is all about - people helping people, said Burnett.”
